In conjunction with Gurney Paragon 1st anniversary (wah so fast 1 year already?!?!?!?) TGV Cinema and the Mall itself held the Ultimate Movie Buff Game Show! yeah~! TGV Cinemas received over 600 entries but only the 15 were selected based on complete entry and originality, creativity and relevance of the slogan.

There were 3 rounds of the game, 5 contestant in a round and one winner from each round will proceed to the final round and fight for the title of the Ultimate movie buff! I know everyone is curious about the prizes~ hehehe you're gonna be sooooooo jealous and will say: "WHY am I not there to join this!!!!"

这本是我第一本的黑背，也因此陷入无底深渊，与黑背的书结下“孽缘”。。。 成了黑背迷！哈哈！买下第一本黑背只因为喜欢看绘本，看起来还蛮有趣的就拿去结账了，嘿嘿O(∩_∩)O~

黑背之自我介绍

There's time when we are down and drowned in negative emotions. All you can feel is sadness, hatred, anger, frustration, so blue that you can only see bad things in life, people and everything. I'm not gonna lie that I'm a perfect person who only see good things in life coz this happens to me too.

The previous post about the one and only child was truly the time that I was frustrated and I dug out all the bad things about some friends and I sincerely apologizes for that but I'm not gonna deny it as it is the fact of what I truly felt. However, after calming and cheering up myself, those good memories of these friends being so helpful and caring in my life flashing back like a movie. Then, I realize, I was blinded by the negative emotions.

During these time, we tend to say bad words hurting people or make bad decisions, and when we realize, it's always (most of the time) too late to amend our mistakes. We tend to overlook the goodness as we enlarge the bad side so much it covers up the good side. It's just like when you hate someone, everything he/she does seems wrong to you and just make you feel angry.

SO, moral of the story is, when you feel that that is the time, take a step back, distract yourself and do something else, preferably something that will make you happy, THEN do whatever you should do or say whatever you should say regarding that matter or person. Don't do or say anything silly that you will regret after that.

GODZILLA! Since the trailers were out I was really looking forward for it! My generations were full of these monster fighting themed movie or show or etc etc and Godzilla is one of the classic for me! I'm not keen of monster movie but this one, is a must watch for me!

In the last Godzilla film (1998), Godzilla is the bad guy and killing human as his eggs were destroyed by them. It was so many years ago so I kinda totally forgot what the story was about and I went to watch the new Godzilla with a blank mind. Well, it turned out it was a good thing. Since it's not a sequence, I advice those that are going to watch Godzilla 2014, just leave yourself blank and there's NOTHING to do with the 1998 Godzilla at all.

A book by Sophie Kinsella. I've never read her Shopaholic and only watched the movie of it, but somehow I came across this book in Borders and decided to give it a try, and this, is my first Sophie's book.

It's about Poppy who had a disastrous series of events before her wedding. She lost her engagement ring, then her phone, an annoying wedding planner which is one of her friend, Lucinda which complains a lot bout helping her doing this and that, problems with the future in-laws and etc. To make thing worse, that engagement ring has been in her fiance, Magnus Tavishes's family for THREE generations.

While pacing shakily around the hotel, she found a phone in the rubbish bin. Well, finders keepers! It turn out the phone's owner (well, ex-owner) were a personal assistant to businessman Sam Roxton. Poppy kinda went through the messages in the phone and kinda wade into Sam's personal life. Sam wants the phone back but Poppy won't give him back as she need a phone for the hotel staff or anyone who found her ring to contact her, so she will need to help Sam out and be his temporary PA for a while.

At the same time Poppy needs to hide the truth about the missing ring from Magnus and his family and to work out to get along with the Tavishes. The Tavishes, to Poppy, are like the academic version of The Incredibles, as if they have super-brains and super intelligent. She felt crushed and miserable inside when she's with them but Magnus insists that his parents love her!

It's a great book, and I love it!  The book was written in a way where the messages between the characters are shown clearly. How the story being unfold along the way with a few plot twist which I didn't expect THAT to happen, and it's such a heart warming love story. Totally your time worth reading it! Ok, maybe girls will like it more compare to guys. If they ever gonna shoot a movie based on this, I totally watching it!

SPOILER ALERT!! :

I'm not sure whether is it me or it's just that, a few of those only child in the family always gave me this self-centered kind of attitude feeling when I'm with them. Of course not all of them but like I said, a few. They always talk about themselves, eg. complain that no one celebrate their birthday but we did send greetings and even did early celebration, you don't find them or chat with them (well they don't find you back either), always and mostly waiting other to take the 1st step, not helping in cleaning after a party that everyone organize together and act like you should do it instead, or complain that the event was not planned nicely but they don't help out.

looks like I just listed out a lot...... I'm not that kind of person that mind all doing the work and those who know me they all do, because in the end of any party or gathering, most of the time, I'm the one cleaning and and being the bad guy making others finish the food that no one wants to bring home anymore. It's not like I love to do it, it's just that someone HAS TO do it or things will never get settled. They'll just give me this "why are you forcing me to finish this shit" , HELLO!!! cause you all just sit there chatting endlessly and and none took the initiative to clean up the mess! and I just feel so bad to see the friend who borrow his/her place for the event have to clean up the mess all by his/herself.

Well of course there are friends who help out, and I notice most of them, base on my experience, always a friend not from the one-child-family. I notice some of us always take up these aftermath chores, or helping since the beginning until the end, but some doesn't even help a bit every single time.

However, we still hangout together everytime. From time to time, things are still the same and it's kinda like an endless loop. Hai.......
